CLARIFICATION TEXT UNDER LAW ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA NO. 6698

SRP Tekstil İnşaat Turizm İmalat Sanayi ve Dış Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“Company”) takes all technical and legal measures in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) when processing your personal data due to its activities. Concerned individuals can access detailed information on the processing of their personal data, its transfer to third parties, the legal grounds for collecting personal data, and their rights under the KVKK, from the clarification text below.

A. Processed Personal Data, Data Processing Purpose, Collection Method, and Legal Ground for Processing

The legal grounds on which our Company relies during data processing are as follows:

  • Existence of explicit consent (Art. 5/1, Art. 6).
  • Explicit provision in laws (Art. 5/2-a).
  • Being mandatory for the protection of the life or physical integrity of the person who is unable to express their consent due to actual impossibility or whose consent is not recognized as legally valid, or of another person (Art. 5/2-b).
  • Being necessary to process personal data of the parties to a contract, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c).
  • Being mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç).
  • Being made public by the data subject themselves (Art. 5/2-d).
  • Being mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e).
  • Being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Art. 5/2-f).

B. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data, specified as processed above, may be transferred to audit firms, financial advisors, relevant public institutions and organizations; banks and financial institutions; suppliers and business partners involved in business processes for the realization of activities; and to legally authorized public institutions and organizations upon their request and limited to the purposes of the request, based on relevant legal provisions, if necessary for the realization of our company's business areas and business processes and limited to what is necessary, in line with the data processing purposes stated under the same heading.

C. Rights of the Data Subject

Everyone has the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK;

  1. To learn whether their personal data is processed,
  2. To request information if their personal data has been processed,
  3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  4. To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
  5. To request the correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and to request that the transaction made within this scope be notified to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
  6. To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing have disappeared, even though it has been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant laws,
  7. To object to the emergence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  8. To demand compensation for damages if they suffer damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.

Everyone can submit their requests regarding these rights to our Company in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Application to the Data Controller. Requests will be evaluated and decided upon free of charge as soon as possible and ultimately within thirty (30) days. If the evaluation and decision-making process requires an additional cost, the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be taken as a basis.
